I have recently purchased an Asus Memopad 7 (7") ME176CX Tablet to take the place of my iPad Mini since Apple updated its system to 8.3. The external GPS I have is a XGPS150A which always worked fine with the iPad.The new tablet has Android 4.4.0 installed.
The problem I have is that Skydemon keeps exiting the program back to the tablet 'Home' screen. Either that or the screen freezes with the massage 'Skydemon not responding'. I am using a helper APP for the external GPS as suggested and until crashing works fine.
I have been made aware that the tablet I'm using has the Intel Atom processor in it and there is a suggestion that it is not compatible with Skydemon.
1) Is this the case?
2) If so, is there a software fix for it?
I'm starting to feel that I've just wasted my money purchasing the tablet.

I have the same problem with a Nexus 7 tablet (2013). This tablet has a quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro-processor.
Previous year i had no problems with Skydemon, however since this year the app regularly crashes especially when circling (glider). Skydemon just shuts down and i have to restart it. Maybe its because of an Android update or Skydemon update.
Any more Nexus 7 users who have this problem?

I have a Nexus 7 (2013) running the latest Android and SD versions and I have experienced no problems whatsoever. SD is as solid as a rock.
